Linkhorn Bay is an apartment community that truly cares about the experiences and overall satisfaction of the tenets who reside there. Silver Carter, the leasing representative that we worked with, made the move in decision a no brainer. She was helpful, kind, and always ready to solve any issues that came up. Linkhorn is a great option especially for those with fur babies. The dog policy is one of the leading factors that made Linkhorn our top choice. I can’t recommend it enough!

Overall, I love living at Linkhorn Bay! It's a nice neighborhood with a lot of amenities, the apartments are very nice, maintenance generally comes quickly but the rent is pretty high.

We’ve had multiple work orders come in and be resolved, specifically by Dwayne. He has always been quick, clean, polite, and extremely helpful. We had an issue where our toilet was a bit wobbly and he fixed it in about 5 minutes and proceeded to help with other issues we were having around the house while there.

I thoroughly enjoy living in my apartment here in the community. The complex is extremely pet friendly which makes the whole experience and environment of living here so worth it. All of the amenities are in great shape and I really enjoy the Dog Spa and dog park.

This is our 7th year at Linkhorn Bay and we could not be happier with our oasis. Tucked in away from the business of the community, we are blessed to overlook one of two ponds in the community. Watching the geese and ducks nest and raise their young every season is fun. Listening to the fountains day and night brings a calming nature to our home. Being close enough to walk or ride bikes to the oceanfront or ViBe district is a treat. The best thing is the combination of amenities, updated apartments, and amazing staff, especially our maintenance team: Dwayne and Maurice. Teamwork at its finest.

Krisi from the maintenance department did an outstanding job of fixing my issue and went above and beyond to make sure that it would not happen again. I was really treated as a valued resident and it was very much appreciated. On top of that even with the emergency call Krisi greeted me with it a smile and put me at ease that the situation would be remedied. Excellent service!

Linkhorn is great. Kerry at the pool is amazing. She gets along with all residents and is always friendly. Keeps the Escape room clean and tidy. My new maintenance man after I moved apartments is wonderful as well. I forgot his name but he has an accent. Awesome guy and he always gets the job done is a quick and timely fashion.

My boyfriend and I relocated from Massachusetts. Working with the team remotely and getting all the parts in order from 500 miles away was easy. We worked with Gabriella and she was so easy to work with. She was knowledgeable and honest. We love Linkhorn and our introduction to Virgina has been positive partially because of where we live.

I enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings at Linkhorn Bay, especially during the summer months when I can spend time with my grandbabies. It's also convenient being close to shopping centers and a couple of grocery stores. Plus, being just 8-10 minutes from the beach is fantastic!

Living at Linkhorn Bay for the last 7 years has been a truly wonderful experience. The amenities we have are top notch, from 2 pools to a remodeled gym, plus many areas for walking and fishing. Overlooking a pond with 2 fountains creates a beautiful oasis, especially in the Summer. Watching the sun rise in the morning and the sun set from the deck, completes a peaceful day. Working from home means I also get to hear the geese and various animals outside throughout the day. Living here, you can really kick up your feet at the end of the day.

I have lived at Linkhorn Bay Apartments for about 4-5 years. I moved into a freshly remodeled apartment. Like all apartments, condo's or similar shared spaces your experience depends a great deal on the neighbors you have closest to you. That isn't something the company can control.
Anything within the control of LHB has been dealt with promptly, professionally, and I believe appropriately. The fact that I have renewed my lease so many times, speaks to the fact that as far as apartment living goes, Linkhorn Bay does a great job to make this a good place for a lot of people to share space. Yes you can hear your neighbors, and sometimes you're going to see a bug. That is true for 100% of apartments regardless of price range. There are going to be maintenance issues, I've had my share, and they were handled with exceptional speed, professionalism, and the job was done properly the first time around. While I may renew my lease only one more time, that is simply because I will be buying a home. I have not seen another apartment community I'd prefer to live in. So until I purchase, I will call LHB home. The fair pricing has allowed me to save money to purchase. The jet noise is of course a problem, but as stated before, anything within the control of the community is handled appropriately, that just simply isn't in their control.

Living her since 12/2022, besides some confusion when I first moved in; it has been very peasant living here. Maintenance has been very responsive when needed and the office staff are very helpful. My neighbors are very quiet, and you get used to the airplanes flying overhead from the base. If I had to complain it would be regarding dog owners not picking up behind their pets.

The community creates a great facade of a suburban utopia with beautiful, well-kept grounds and traditional white railing patios, but the water-warped floors inside and the war-reminiscent jet flyovers outside remind you that utopia only exists in stories. I have lived at Linkhorn Bay about a month now. I moved here from out of state. I really love the community here. The complex is tucked away from the main road and feels more like a suburb than an complex. There is a pool, a fitness center and a pet spa for people with animals. The apartments are very contemporary with stainless steel appliance and laminate floors. There is also a little pond with ducks and turtles. The only downside is the noise from the Air Base but after awhile you stop noticing it. I looked at 12 different apartments between Norfolk and VA Beach and this hands down was the best one! I couldn't be happier.
