Moving into Linkhorn Bat has been a serene experience. Getting a glimpse of the lake first thing in the morning always sets the tone for a great day ahead. I love starting my day or ending it at the gym where all the equipment I need is available. The pool is also a great feature as well as the beach being so close by. So far, I’ve loved living here. The only downside is the jet noise on occasion. Some days it’s non stop and other days it’s non existent so you never know when you’ll be hearing them. Overall it doesn’t bother me too much but I have to pop in my AirPods during meetings to block out the noise. I would recommend Linkhorn Bay to a friend with the disclaimer that it can get noisy but the good definitely out weighs it to me! It also helps that my neighbors are relatively quiet and I don’t hear much from them either!

I was very pleased with the service provided by the technician. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely responsive to all of my requests. He went above and beyond—addressing and resolving more issues than those originally reported to the main office and included in the work order, which was a refreshing change.
Additionally, the Leasing Office staff was a pleasure to work with from the moment I raised my concerns. They were approachable and made me feel comfortable discussing the issues, and once documented, I felt confident that my concerns were being taken seriously throughout the entire process.
The manager should be proud—her staff is clearly well-trained, disciplined, and demonstrates a strong commitment to customer service. It truly made a difference in my experience.

I’ve lived at Linkhorne since 2018, and it’s been a great experience. I truly enjoy the location. it’s convenient and peaceful. I love having access to both the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the fitness center, which helps me stay active and healthy. Most importantly, I feel safe living here, and that peace of mind means everything. Right now, my rent is affordable and within my budget, which makes it easier to enjoy all the benefits of this community without stress

Location is everything, family makes it even better. Living here for 8 years has created a family atmosphere with our neighbors and maintenance team. We love living in an area where we get to see wildlife every day, from different water fowl and turtles. Our apartment home, updated and modern, overlooking two fountains in a lake just off the deck. Honestly, I could not ask for a better place to raise my daughter.

Have been here for almost 5 months and so far the community is great. Only complaint is I wish they would have some security cameras due to all the car break ins we’ve heard about since we’ve moved in. Otherwise no issues!

I was in search of a place to move with not a lot of time before having to be out of my previous place. I briefly saw Linkhorn Bay online while searching and my roommate and I decided to drive over to the leasing office to check it out and ask questions. There we were greeted by Andy Clark who was very personable, easy to work with, helpful, and kind! She sat us down and went over all of our questions. She also brought us over to tour some available apartments. Later that day my roommate and I decided to apply! After applying Andy called the very next day to let me know that she received our application and would start working in it! She kept in great contact with us throughout the application process. Everything was easy and any questions were answered! 10/10 recommend!

If you use all of the resources provided by Linkhorn Bay, you are in for an amazing experience. The communication is off the charts whether it is a maintenance request, an event, a change to protocol, inclement weather tips, the staff here do an amazing job of working together with the community. I've never attended any of the events at the pool or food trucks etc. but I see the pics on social media and drive by them occassionally. It's a pretty cool community! Everyone is pretty helpful communicating in the resident portal about happenings in the community and even offering items like furniture if they are no longer needed.

We have been in Linkhorn Bay for 8 years. Over the years, we have seen many wonderful changes, beautification projects, new amenities added, and remodeling all the units on site. The consistent benefit: fun community events and a stellar team of maintenance who some, become like family. We are fortunate to live this close to the beach without paying resort prices. Having a pond with a fountain provides a relaxing retreat when we get home. The amount of wildlife is so entertaining that friends don't want us to move because they would miss the geese and ducks. Highly recommend.

V (said that was his name) was awesome! A member of the property management team was great. Upon move-in one of the electrical outlets was shooting sparks and he arrived same day, was amicable and professional. Hire more people like V! Another shout-out goes to Kerry, the indoor pool attendant. Down-to-earth and can actually been seen working (testing pool chemicals, cleaning up and greeting pool go-ers).

Moving from a small town to a big city, I was surprised at how peaceful and oftentimes quiet the neighborhood is. Apartments aren't luxury but they are nice enough. Any issues we've had have been resolved by maintenence within 48 hours, usually less than 24. The price is great for being so close to the ocean. The jets can be loud but after a few weeks they're significantly less annoying. The amenities are nice; we spend a lot of time in the gym, and the kids love the indoor pool. Pretty much any store you could need is within 2 miles. Overall, I'd give living here a solid B+

Sitting on your patio, at your dining table or living room overlooking the water i with all the ducks and geese is very special. Everything is kept in the condition you would keep a home you owned. Also everyone is very friendly and helpful. This area is very convenient to everything that Virginia Beach has to offer. I chose this place online so I consider myself extremely lucky that I found such a gem!
