Hi!
I'm new to the community. I've only been here a few weeks, nevertheless my move in was very smooth! I had a few minor issues for starters but when I inserted my work orders, Clarion was on it (shoutout to the office).
Maintenance (Lou) was sent to the rescue expeditiously and resolved everything. What he couldn't he still did because he got the correct people on the job! Overall the community is nice. I think I'm going to like it here.

Great people work at the Point on 38th! They're nice and pay attention to everything we need. This apartment is great for college students because it has so many great features. The staff is always in touch and gives news about what's going on. The property is clean and safe. I really think that the Point is a safe and protected spot. When something even slightly worrying happens in the building, they always send emails about it. You can feel safe and relaxed here, and there are lots of nice things to do.

Overall, we have a decent experience. We enjoy the community events and the sense of belonging it brings. The only downside to older homes is the quality of the unit. We have multiple homes around the unit and deal with critters all the time. We also have an issue with outdated appliances. But I have to commend the staff for their hard work and dedication. The Reserve at Barry is the second community I have lived in while an adult. The maintenance and office team are top notch. They do their jobs efficiently and quickly. The office staff are friendly and professional. The are not rude, dismissive, or condescending. Everyone seems to enjoy helping residents. I don't hear my neighbors while in my unit. My unit is close to a major road, so I do hear that noise when my windows are open. If road noise is a concern there are plenty of units away from the road. I don't plan on moving from this complex for a very long time.

I moved here in August and I love the peace and quiet, the quick responses to maintenance request, and professional yet friendly office staff. I live on the ground level and the bugs ate me up when it was warm, and I see lots of spiders and crickets in the pation, and bathrooms. So far, spray for spiders and a quick swat helps. I wish I had taken an upstairs apartment andmaybe the spiders and such would not be so bad. Overall, it is a very pleasant place to live, clean, quiet and I don't regret living here.

A beautiful property in a great location. The property size is also ideal; it’s not overly large. The buildings are spaced out enough so that you don’t feel like you’re living around hundreds of people. The only drawback is the lack of coveted spaces or garages. In winter, the unassigned parking is problematic because tenants must dig their own cars out of the snow, ABC if they go out, they often come back to someone else having pulled into that space.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment it was obviously professionally cleaned and that is not ordinary in my experience in apartment communities and i have lived in many. I love the hard wood floors, color of the walls, the softness and color of the carpet. Not only new appliances but stainless steel was a very nice surprise. Also no front load washers and dryers i was thrilled as they are the worst appliances ever made and only support mold.

The development is beautifully maintained
100%.. in all areas. It is also a friendly and safe place to live. The office staff is always available to help and resolve any and all issues. And their positive attitude and understanding and knowledge is invaluable. Maintenance is always available. The response time is always more than timely and they are really are truly Knowledgeable.. It is also dog friendly and there is a small dog park on the premises. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and always immaculate. The same for the wonderful gym. I love living here. It is also fair pricing in today’s market yet you get so much more with the beautiful grounds, the wonderful customer service from the office and maintenance. It is kept extremely clean and safe place to live.
It is definitely a “ten” and I highly recommend living care. I love it.

Austin, Charles, Tanner, Ranger, and the guy who fixed the fridge (i cant remember his name) always make it happen.10/10 service, I’d trust this this team with my life at this point. They mitigated what was a potentially lease ending water loss in a matter of days, with nothing more than a couple of dehu’s and the supplies they already carry. They even found time to fix the fridge in between. Every one of them should get a generous raise!

A humble hidden gem! Banyan is everything I hoped for in a community. Safe, clean and reasonably priced. It doesn't have some of the fancy polish and "amenities" that newer complexes would charge an extra arm and leg for; but, I wouldn't have used any of it anyway. What Banyan lacks in fashion, it far makes up for in function. The management is kind, professional and responsive! Maintenance is capable, quick and courteous!
That being said, this community has been making many new improvements to the property over my tenure here, so it won't be long before we can say it has everything anyone can ask for.

The location is great. Easy access to everywhere and Frankfort Avenue is great for walking your dog. But there are other properties with similar rent that offer more amenities such as a gym and/or pool.
The apartment manager is phenomenal! I don’t think you could get anyone better than her! Kathy is amazing. She is very efficient!l
I don’t like the fact that you have to pay for Dish and valet trash. It should be your choice.

Addison was very thorough and friendly throughout the whole process. Originally, I had planned to move in on December 4th, but if you check the almanac, there was a torrential downpour that day, along with really cold temperatures. I ended up moving in the 6th instead. I told her it was fine, that I would sign the lease papers as originally drafted, and essentially pay for the 2 days I hadn’t resided there. She re-drafted all the paperwork to adjust for that 2 day period, which didn’t save me a critical amount of money per se, but it did save me a little bit. In this day and age where companies seem to only eye the bottom line, that gesture was a nice reminder that good people still exist. Other members of the staff have also been almost like friends when entering the leasing office. Carrie, at the Escape, was also really friendly when I first walked in, gave me a tour and all the things. I don’t know if it’s a managerial thing, or just good people work there, but whatever the formula is, keep it up

The Reserve at Barry offers luxurious open green spaces for outdoor activities. Dog park and dog wash station, Volley ball courts, tennis court, two swimming pools, twi out door grills with tables and seating surrounded by well manicured lawn, sidewalks for a leisurely walk, a large indoor gymn with weights, tread mills, rowing machines and a seperate room with exercise mat.
There is lots of free parking at all apartments.
All apartments are quiet and have granite counter tops in kitchen and bath topping new cabinets. Toilets are a quiet one flush and done regardless of your deposit. Light fixtures tires are all new and use high efficiency bulbs. Bath room mirror is large and well lit. For those who prefer all carpet except kitchen and bath second floor apartments have it. For those who prefer the engineered wood floors first floor apts have in in all rooms except carpeted bedrooms.
The Reserve at Barry Apts are the only complex in the entire Meyro that is like living in a big luxurious gof course instead of a tall building in a concrete jungle paced in the middle of a used car parking lot. Over 50 acres. Extremely walkable to St Luke's Northland Hospital, Hy-Vee Grocery, Wal?Mart Super Center. Boardwalk Shopoing area and Skyview Shopoing area.
Wanna live luxuriously without shy high rents, the Reserve at Barry is the Best of the Best Choice.

A beautiful community and excellent amenities! I admire the work that the maintenance staff does to stay on top of any urgent maintenance request. My kids love the new playground and ask to go almost everyday!
My family's only complaint would be the trash compactor. It has limited space and is inefficient at times when it becomes full. From what I have seen, there are many residents that do not know how to use the controls to actually COMPACT the trash. This is why I think providing instructions posted outside the trash compactor on the use (not just restricted items) would help the overflow that proceeds multiple residents throwing in too much trash for the compactor to compact it all.
I understand there might be an underlying reason that more dumpsters or compactors cant be placed around the community for ease of access, but this would help so much as well!

Overall, we have a decent experience. We enjoy the community events and the sense of belonging it brings. The only downside to older homes is the quality of the unit. The Reserve at Barry is the second community I have lived in while an adult. The maintenance and office team are top notch. They do their jobs efficiently and quickly. The office staff are friendly and professional. The are not rude, dismissive, or condescending. Everyone seems to enjoy helping residents. I don't hear my neighbors while in my unit. My unit is close to a major road, so I do hear that noise when my windows are open. If road noise is a concern there are plenty of units away from the road. I don't plan on moving from this complex for a very long time.

I moved here in August and I love the peace and quiet, the quick responses to maintenance request, and professional yet friendly office staff. I live on the ground level and the bugs ate me up when it was warm, and I see lots of spiders and crickets in the pation, and bathrooms. So far, spray for spiders and a quick swat helps. I wish I had taken an upstairs apartment andmaybe the spiders and such would not be so bad. Overall, it is a very pleasant place to live, clean, quiet and I don't regret living here.

A beautiful property in a great location. The property size is also ideal; it’s not overly large. The buildings are spaced out enough so that you don’t feel like you’re living around hundreds of people. The only drawback is the lack of coveted spaces or garages. In winter, the unassigned parking is problematic because tenants must dig their own cars out of the snow, ABC if they go out, they often come back to someone else having pulled into that space.

I appreciated the cleanliness of the apartment it was obviously professionally cleaned and that is not ordinary in my experience in apartment communities and i have lived in many. I love the hard wood floors, color of the walls, the softness and color of the carpet. Not only new appliances but stainless steel was a very nice surprise. Also no front load washers and dryers i was thrilled as they are the worst appliances ever made and only support mold.

The Villages Banyan Grove are an awesome place to live. First of all, you will never find a better management, office staff and competent courteous maintenance staff. The development is beautifully maintained 100%.. in all areas. It is also a friendly and safe place to live. The office staff is always available to help and resolve any and all issues. And their positive attitude and understanding and knowledge is invaluable. Maintenance is always available. The response time is always more than timely and they are really are truly Knowledgeable.. It is also dog friendly and there is a small dog park on the premises. The pool area is absolutely gorgeous and always immaculate. The same for the wonderful gym. I love living here. It is also fair pricing in today’s market yet you get so much more with the beautiful grounds, the wonderful customer service from the office and maintenance. It is kept extremely clean and safe place to live. It is definitely a “ten” and I highly recommend living care. I love it.

They mitigated what was a potentially lease ending water loss in a matter of days, with nothing more than a couple of dehu’s and the supplies they already carry. They even found time to fix the fridge in between. Every one of them should get a generous raise!

A humble hidden gem! Banyan is everything I hoped for in a community. Safe, clean and reasonably priced. It doesn't have some of the fancy polish and "amenities" that newer complexes would charge an extra arm and leg for; but, I wouldn't have used any of it anyway. What Banyan lacks in fashion, it far makes up for in function. The management is kind, professional and responsive! Maintenance is capable, quick and courteous! That being said, this community has been making many new improvements to the property over my tenure here, so it won't be long before we can say it has everything anyone can ask for.

But there are other properties with similar rent that offer more amenities such as a gym and/or pool. The apartment manager is phenomenal! I don’t think you could get anyone better than her! Kathy is amazing. She is very efficient!l I don’t like the fact that you have to pay for Dish and valet trash. It should be your choice.

Addison was very thorough and friendly throughout the whole process. Originally, I had planned to move in on December 4th, but if you check the almanac, there was a torrential downpour that day, along with really cold temperatures. I ended up moving in the 6th instead. I told her it was fine, that I would sign the lease papers as originally drafted, and essentially pay for the 2 days I hadn’t resided there. She re-drafted all the paperwork to adjust for that 2 day period, which didn’t save me a critical amount of money per se, but it did save me a little bit. In this day and age where companies seem to only eye the bottom line, that gesture was a nice reminder that good people still exist. Other members of the staff have also been almost like friends when entering the leasing office. Carrie, at the Escape, was also really friendly when I first walked in, gave me a tour and all the things. I don’t know if it’s a managerial thing, or just good people work there, but whatever the formula is, keep it up

The Reserve at Barry offers luxurious open green spaces for outdoor activities. Dog park and dog wash station, Volley ball courts, tennis court, two swimming pools, twi out door grills with tables and seating surrounded by well manicured lawn, sidewalks for a leisurely walk, a large indoor gymn with weights, tread mills, rowing machines and a seperate room with exercise mat. There is lots of free parking at all apartments. All apartments are quiet and have granite counter tops in kitchen and bath topping new cabinets. Toilets are a quiet one flush and done regardless of your deposit. Light fixtures tires are all new and use high efficiency bulbs. Bath room mirror is large and well lit. For those who prefer all carpet except kitchen and bath second floor apartments have it. For those who prefer the engineered wood floors first floor apts have in in all rooms except carpeted bedrooms. The Reserve at Barry Apts are the only complex in the entire Meyro that is like living in a big luxurious gof course instead of a tall building in a concrete jungle paced in the middle of a used car parking lot. Over 50 acres. Extremely walkable to St Luke's Northland Hospital, Hy-Vee Grocery, Wal?Mart Super Center. Boardwalk Shopoing area and Skyview Shopoing area. Wanna live luxuriously without shy high rents, the Reserve at Barry is the Best of the Best Choice.

A beautiful community and excellent amenities! I admire the work that the maintenance staff does to stay on top of any urgent maintenance request. My kids love the new playground and ask to go almost everyday! My family's only complaint would be the trash compactor. It has limited space and is inefficient at times when it becomes full. From what I have seen, there are many residents that do not know how to use the controls to actually COMPACT the trash. This is why I think providing instructions posted outside the trash compactor on the use (not just restricted items) would help the overflow that proceeds multiple residents throwing in too much trash for the compactor to compact it all. I understand there might be an underlying reason that more dumpsters or compactors cant be placed around the community for ease of access, but this would help so much as well! Sorry about the long winded message, thank you for your time.
